5 Tips for Traveling with Children
Traveling with children does not have to be very stressful if you plan ahead. Here are some tips to help make traveling with kids go a little smoother.
1. The biggest tip is to have snacks. It is amazing how a snack can help avoid a meltdown.
2.When flying with a little one, have a bottle or sippy cup filled with water ready for take off and landing. Drinking from a cup or bottle at these times helps their ears to equalize the pressure more quickly.

Go wild on the weekends at the Saint Louis Zoo! On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, May 24 through September 2, the Zoo is open extended hours from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. for Prairie Farms Summer Zoo Weekends. Weekday summer hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

The Saint Louis Science Center has brought back Laserium, the original laser light concert, for a limited time at the James S. McDonnell Planetarium. - Willy Wonka at Shooting Star Productions
Bring your kids to enjoy a live production of Willy Wonka performed by local kids ages 5-19. The show is produced by Shooting Star Productions, a St. Louis-based nonprofit theater company founded to provide positive theatrical experiences for young performers.
Each year, Shooting Star produces two shows, a Broadway-style musical featuring ages 5-19 in the summer, and a non-musical for school age children in the winter. Performers learn technical aspects of producing a live show, set building and experience on the stage.
